Audemars Piguet ROO Clasp & Strap MAGNIFIED

I posted an authenticity check a few threads ago. The team here seemed to think something was off. I must have felt the same way since I was asking.

I contacted the seller who has hundreds of positive reviews selling watches and accessories, mainly high end stuff.

The answer I got was that they have relationships with AP and others and get authentic products. They went ahead and assured me that they sell to watch stores and Jewelers all over the country and so on and so forth...au the city 100% guaranteed, 20 years of stellar feedback.

With recent the Horology scam, I decided to pull the trigger. It’s $700 to satisfy my curiosity and potentially put an end to this if it is a scam.

I got the strap yesterday and did my best to take shots under magnification.

Also, it is worth to note that after 20min of trying to fit the strap, I couldn’t get the pin down (see photos) AP told me on the phone that they are tight when new but I either lack the skill to fit them or this a fake that has a minute tolerance difference.

What do you think??

You intentionally got a blue stitch strap? I only ask because this was the strap for the Audemars Montauk Highway, not the Safari in your posts. So if the dealer told you this was the replacement strap for your model, they were incorrect...

I got the blue because it was the only correct length I could find. This is NOT from an AD.

Not an AP expert, but that looks fake from here (for several reasons).
