Oris reviews?
I’ve bought a bronze pointer date and loving it. Good quality. Automatic. Attractive. Different and fun.
But I can’t find much reviews on this brand. Others’ thoughts on the brand?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like it and am considering buying the watch. I need a green dial and a bronze case, so it obviously ticks both boxes.
I feel like Oris packs a lot of bang for the buck. Movements are generally ETA or Sellita, but I hear that they’re pretty accurate and dependable. The Big Crown Pointer Date looks gorgeous. My favorite one from the brand.

I haven’t seen that many reviews on the brand either but I can tell you this, that watch is amazing. Well done.

I received the Aquis in October as a present and I think it's a fantastic watch. Well made, nice looking and currently runs about 1.5 spd fast.

Thanks guys. My review thus far on this watch is excellent. The value seems to be really really high as an automatic watch with some style, glass back, sapphire crystal, and great leather strap. 3 year warranty. AD in nyc were negotiable.

I just picked mine up today! For your hard-earned dollar, you get:
- A nicely-finished bronze case - Exhibition caseback with a pretty good-looking movement -cool vintage markers (especially the 4) without the faux patina -a beautiful, warm green dial -a cool red-tipped pointer date -quick release strap I’m also really warming up to Oris as a brand. They have a nice long history, and they withstood the Swatch takeover and subsequent butchering of the company to re-emerge as a brand that offers up quality watches accessible to a wider audience. You succinctly and articulately describe what drew me to the brand. Great watch, solid value, and a very colorful history, including some near brushes with death as a company. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have an Aquis Date (43.5mm, blue dial, black ceramic bezel) on bracelet and friggin' love it! It's tough as nails, and the dial rivals my Bluesy. I agree with all that's often said regarding Oris' value, and it looks and feels far more expensive than it is. If you don't have an Oris AD and are looking for a great vendor online, I suggest Prestige Time.
And OP -- gorgeous watch, btw! Love the color scheme. |

I love the pointer date and the hands in general. I'm going to take another look at Oris. A few years ago I was really interested in their brand but thought it better to explore other brands at a higher price point.

I have this same 80th anniversary pointer in bronze, along with a funky heritage blue diver 65, love them both dearly and use them daily... My wife has an Aquis that rivals my YM 16622

I own a Oris 65 Topper LE and it’s a standout in my collection. Rivet bracelet, with its taper has got to be one of best modern examples.

Just got mines last Friday and have been using it daily. I love it. Just with 5 days it changed already to a nice patina. Can’t wait to see how it will look within a month time. So far the accuracy is spot on. But now I’m trying to look at different watch strap options. Anybody have suggestions? I want one with the same bronze buckle if there is an option.

Old thread, but I see it was brought back to life this week so I'll play. I own several brands (Rolex, Panerai, Omega, IWC, Breitling, Bremont, etc) and my Oris Carl Brashear is the only watch that I receive comments on from strangers literally every time I wear it. Of course, this doesn't say anything towards the quality of the brand, but it certainly says something for the design.

Hello
I've just seen picture of an ORIS Divers watch, I think is called the November Edition. I'm just wondering if anyone has an experience of these watches and can tell me if they are any good or not? Thanks. |

I just picked up a 40 mm black dial Diver 65 with the vintage 3, 6, 9, 12 and so far I love it! The case is substantial feeling, it wears well on my wrist, and the domed crystal is just plain cool.
Mine is on a rubber strap, which is comfortable. I cannot comment on the quality of the bracelet variation. I was drawn to Oris a few year ago when I saw an Artelier moonphase and loved it. They seem to get good reviews and have a nice range of offerings. As for the Big Crown in the original post...I love it! My AD had one in the case and it was tempting but I didn’t want to spend the extra coin when I had gone in for the Diver. Beautiful watch in person! |

Thku! I love this watch. The green. Bronze. Big crown etc. but mostly because it was the last watch I bought before Covid emerged, walking around Manhattan.
