New Truck Tonight

I just got back from the dealership with my new baby. Its a 2009 F150 XLT 4x4 Super Crew with chrome pkg etc. Color is stone green with pueblo gold accent. It is a real beauty. I was set on on either dark blue pearl or oxford white, but when I took the wife in tonight she was dead set on the stone green with pueblo gold accent. Man she has great taste. She was the one who forced me to buy the sub date about a month ago. I don't know what I like looking at more, the sub or the F150. By the way my wife is a KEEPER!!!I'll post pics later as it is raining cats and dogs tonight, with a chance on snow tomorrow.

Now go out there and bang you watch into it. Then you will have a scratch on both and you will be able relax and enjoy them. The 2009 Fords are Sweet, congrats

Here is my 2004 with 130,000 miles. Will keep it another five years. Good job on the 2009. I went with the Lariat package instead of going 4X4. It is my redneck mini-van. Enjoy.

Actually us Ford F150 enthusiasts know that "Screw" is short for...

Super Crew :)

Most think it stands for either "Find On the Road Dead" or "Fix Or Repair Daily". Truth be told it is a Latin word that stands for, "Did Not Have To Take Taxpayers Money For A Bail Out".

"F*&$'d Over Rebuilt Dodge" I thought. Seriously, great truck. I love Fords & especially the F150 lines. Anybody that still thinks the U.S. auto industry is producing crap is proving their ignorance and stuck in the mentality of pretty much late 70's, all 80's and most of the 90's. And beyond that, the U.S. pickup has always been a leader...even during those 'dark years' of U.S. auto manufacturing. They are 'dying' not because of quality control issues or innovation, their business model is broken when you look at the ridiculous mess the company & workers Union have gotten themselves into over the last few decades. How they can survive when they need to employ over 100 people to pay for every 1 retiree is beyond me??? Enjoy your new ride! Cheers.

P.S. Great choice on color BTW...I love green trucks!

Don't have a dog in the hunt with the auto industry, but I heard a statment that I researched and found out to be ture. As of today, there are 96,000 employess hired directy by the Big Three, but they cover health insurance for over 1,000,000 retired employees. The numbers just do not add up. My opinion has always been, no matter the ideals; don't kill the golden goose. What do I know.

Hey congratulations. I love trucks. I still drive a '97 GMC 4x4 with 111,000 miles. It's a good truck so I just keep driving it.

and I'm in the process of rebuilding this '46 Chevy.

Good luck with your new truck. I hope it keeps you happy for years.
