Lets see those bikes

Picked up a new road bike this weekend. Usually I run 5 miles 3 days a week but it’s been getting to my knees lately. Rode a little over 7 miles after work last night and it was very liberating though my choice of a very hilly route was brutal.

Very nice! How was cycling in Dubai? And what’s the coolest place you’ve ever biked?

Awesome and glad to see someone not afraid of actually wearing their watch. I find my bezel very useful on my rides.

Lets see those bikes

My newest bike was picked up a couple of months ago and it s Riese and Muller Supercharger eBike. I bought it to commute to/from work (32 miles rnd trip) but with the WFH situation it’s lonely in the garage. I think I’m going to take the afternoon off tomorrow and get out for a mental health ride.

Nice bikes - Corona Crisis has actually had a positive effect on me where I have been put on Furlough by my company for 2 months and decided to use it as an opportunity to get fit again. Have 5 Road bikes in my garage - 2 1980’s steel framed bikes in bits ready to be restored / 1 of the last Aluminium framed Specialized Triathlon Time Trial bikes and 2 carbon framed bikes. Will post you a picture of my favourite one tomorrow as it is nearly 1am in the morning in the UK now - Raleigh USA Pro Team Carbon built up with Campagnolo 10 Speed Record and Campagnolo Neutron Ultra Wheels. I actually sold my Mint Oyster Precision Date to buy it about 6 years ago when I fell out of love with the 34mm size. Have been out on it twice in the last few days and has made me realise what I have been missing! All the best guys and stay safe!

Thanks CJ and it's a Cannondale Hooligan. Unfortunately they don't make these any more.

Here's the link to some spec.

Personally, I love riding more than I love bikes, per se. But we’re particularly proud of my son’s custom bikes. Since no one makes race level bikes for young kids, I got with a framebuilder friend of mine and these were the results...
