The dial (California style) is not original. I'm quite sure Rolex & Tudor never appeared on the same dial.

Looking at the links Dan provided inspired me to dig out an old watch box that has both Rolex and Tudor listed. I don't know how old it is or what watch came in it. Opinions?

A box like that was sold as part of a supposed full set with a 1963 Tudor Sub. Seems plausible.

Looks kind of fakey and shadowy and shimmery. Don’t think Rolex branded tudors on same dial as others note

Most likely a model 7966 Tudor with an aftermarket dial and hands. Just because the case was produced by Rolex doesnt make it one. These aftermarket dials have been used forever to make people think they are buying a Rolex when in fact it is a Tudor.
