"Iris" effect Pepsi Insert
This 1675 has been getting a bit more wrist time lately and it got me thinking about the insert and the "iris" effect it displays on the blue section. I've seen this effect on a few inserts over the years but it seems far from common. Anyone have any insight to give as to why this happens? It seems to appear more often on the red part of the insert than the blue.
If you have an insert like this please share.. |

I wonder if it is the clear cote or something. It can be seen a little bit on mine in certain angles but not really if you aren’t looking for it.

I could look at your watch all day long Per!! The funny thing is you never see this on any other insert than a pepsi (I could be wrong of course) Not on black GMT inserts or Sub inserts

Think you can see this on some black ones. Not something I lay awake thinking about but it feels like something I’ve seen. Could be wrong though. :)
