Funny Rolex Spotting on 2 1/2 Men
Last night we were watching 2 1/2 men and Alan's mom had givien him a Sub as a bribe. It went into it a good bit. The funniest scene was Alan holding his arm in a picture of water and acting like he was Jacques Cousteau. They showed a pretty good close up of it as well. It was non date.
I am sure Rolex got paid for that spot since Alan said it "was a Rolex Submariner that was waterproof to 330 ft".

I saw another rerun not long ago where Alan was dating an elderly woman, who gave him a platinum Masterpiece, with diamond markers and besel. Amazing! I wonder if they get to keep those "props"! I think I saw Charlie wearing a Yacht-Master as well on some of the episodes.

I saw this too and it was a fake, the dial didnt have any logos or text. Still a funny bit ! Charlies YM is real and is his own personal piece... I saw Steve Wynn wearing a "41 Double D" on 60 Minutes the other night; it was the smooth bezel white gold model... |

I've heard that Charlie Sheen is a bit of a WIS and has several VC's in addition to his Rolex.

I've heard that as well, seems a lot of celebs are, but that's not surprising, excesive money and time breeds hobby/collecting.

Charlie has also worn a watch that looks like a SS Date or SS Datejust with a black dial. Can anybody confirm?

When I was at the Wynn one of the head Rolex guys there told me Steve wore a "plain platinum DD" and was going to get a "plain platinum DDII", is it possible the DDII was platinum and not white gold??[/QUOTE]
not sure, as I thought PLAT was in 36 only; for now anyways... It had a higher luster than the PLATs do, thats why I thought it wasa white gold model... |

Steve Wynn's DDII is definitely platinum. It has the arctic blue dial on it.

That is so funny. My girlfriend is with her parents and she called me up and told me about this. She called that it was a Rolex before they announced it, and also called that it was a Sub before they announced it.
I have trained her well.

The DDII is definitely available in Platinum. Here is the link to the exact watch that Wynn was wearing http://www.rolex.com/en/index.jsp#/e...rochure/cover/

I had a fairly good look at his watch on my friend's HDTV. 55" in HD and I paused it and had a good look at it (as my friend was making fun of me for getting that worked up over a watch). But as far as I know, the arctic dial is only available on the platinum version...

The first version was resistant to 200m. Either way, they got it wrong.

I thought he said 330 meters on the show, but I wasn't paying that much attention. Funny either way, though.
