Anybody dissapointed they didn't change the Milgauss

They did a retro version of the Kermit and was really hoping for one for the Milgauss.
Apologies in advance to all current Milgauss owners but if I was suffering from an erection of more then 4 hrs from Viagra I wouldn't seek immediate medical attention I would just look at a current Milgauss.
The 6541 is the mechanical Venus Di Milo of watches and if they ever brought it back in a modern version there would be an infinity waiting list. Again my profoundest apologies to current Milguass owners.

Next years updates should be easy to predict. The only watches that haven’t been ‘updated’ are the Milgauss, Explorer I, and Explorer II or am I missing one?

Nah. I love the white MG. Clean watch with enough quirk to make it different. The orange markers turning blue when the lume kicks in is sweet.

All MG future buyers should be relieved. The 323x seconds gear pivot problem won’t strike them.

Has Rolex released the anti-magnetic rating of its new calibre? It may be that the iron cage doesn't add enough benefit anymore? I realize that Rolex isn't into the 'spec race' per se, but a new anti-magnetic watch should be noticeably more anti-magnetic than a 'regular' Rolex IMO.

Nice summer strap!!

I also agree with the above that the Explorer 1 and 2 must be on the list to update soon as the OP and GMT II are using the new movement family. Timing?...

I sure ain't! Gives me at least another year to get my dream GV before any FOMO buyers get to it.

And to Sothy, thats my question too. I figured all modern Rolex's were pretty anit-magnetic, so the iron cage seems redundant. I could be completely wrong. My absolute dream watch would be the current GV in a thinner case (maybe less polished surfaces too, but not too much of a hang up for me).

I’m actually thrilled. The z blue has been on my radar and now it gives me a little more time to mull it over before it gets the ‘discontinued so price must skyrocket’ treatment.

Love my white Milgauss & wear it on an orange RubberB in the Summer & on the bracelet the rest of the year, but I agree, I would LOVE to see them bring back at least the honeycomb dial- even if they don't add back in a rotating bezel: (Great pix on RolexPassionReport to check out.)

It will definitely get the new movement. Maybe next year, maybe the year after.

Anybody dissapointed they didn't change the Milgauss

Having just bought mine I'd have liked more time before it was changed. I'd have been pissed. On the other hand as the Milgauss is a sleeper more or less, I'm happy they didn't discontinue it again!!!

My AD was certain that the Milgauss was going to be changed this year, maybe next year.

A new Milgauss with honeycomb dial and ceramic rotatable bezel would have a 15 year wait list like the others.

The only thing I don't like about the Milgauss is the orange lightning second hand.
