Fake gmt ii?

HI Guys, I have just bought a Z Series GMT II from a private seller on eBay! He had excellent references. Should I get the movement verified by an AD? How much would it cost ? Cheers

A bit late now , but yes if you have any doubt . There are apparently very good replica's about . It shouldn't really cost anything at your AD , keep in mind that if the watch turns out to be counterfeit he has the right to keep it and Rolex my engage legal procedure .

Post the pix from the auction - maybe you can get some feedback before you make payment. Pictures don't tell you everything... but they can raise flags for sure...

The most I've seen AD's charge is $50. It's definitely worth the piece of mind.

Hi Sani,

First, Welcome to TRF, second, Post the link to the sale

The guys are 100% correct, you've invested a sum of money in the watch, a couple more bucks for peace of mind it definitely worth it.

Cheers,

Dave.

HI Dave, Thanks a lot for your reply. I would certainly get it checked by AD.

Enjoy the Sani,

You have nothing to worry about. Some of the guys who sell on ebay are good guys. By the way it was advertised here also.

if itz a stolen watch, they'll serve you coffee and wait for interpol to come for an interview.
if it is fake, they ask you to take it and go home,...
