AP remaster

Can someone chime in on how they like the remaster, I got offered the remaster and like the photos but they are not in my state and currently I can't fly out there. Should I get it?

I cannot say if you should get it, but it is certainly a stunner. Saw it at a boutique recently.

Haven’t seen in person but the hands on and wrist shots that come up look fantastic. I’d love to be able to buy one some day

I like it but declined when offered by boutique I feel like there are better pieces for the money. Depends on the state if your collection

The rotor is hideous. Hides half the movement and has the lowest quality engraving in the catalogue in my opinion.

Other than that, the dial and case are pretty. But for the money I’d go with ALS 1815 chrono.

It is a beautiful piece - I only wish they had used white gold or platinum instead of steel, otherwise I’d strongly consider

Would also mention only buy this piece if you love it. This is not a waitlist piece so don't feel that the SA is doing you a favour. There are at least 2 sitting in the window of boutiques in HK

I think it’s stunning and it’s on my radar for the future.

I agree with Reign that it would be nice if it was white gold or platinum. I hope it’s the first of many re-mastered models.

I’ve not seen any pics with anything other than the standard brown/tan strap and I imagine that just changing the strap colour would have a huge effect of this watch’s personality.

I like the aesthetic in pics, but would have to handle it to know.

Love everything about it, except the lugs. And for me, the lugs kill it. Of course, just my preferences/opinions and there are likely those that would buy it because of the lugs.

Me too, spoils the design imo.

I love the vintage look but I can't get over the thickness. I prefer my watch on strap to be more slim..
