Where any changes made to the dd40 when the coronet was added?
As far as I know it’s the same movement so just wondered if anything else was changed when they added the coronet at the bottom of the dial, I believe the dials without the coronet where only around for a couple years or so?
Thanks in advance. |

No changes to the movement or the watch itself. Just a visual update to the dial.
I personally like the coronet updated dials. |

Basically it marked the change to the 32 series movements in most models, but it's just a very very very very tiny crown emblem that most Rolex owners would not even notice or care.

Thanks I wondered if it indicated an increase in power reserve as I believe they did this with the sea dweller if my memory serves me correctly. So all 228238 models have the same power reserve of 72 hours?

The DD40 was released at Basel 2015 and in Late 2018 is when they started adding the lower coronet. |
