Explorer 36mm
Picked up a new 36mm Explorer today, must say for my wrist it’s certainly a better fit over my 39mm, overall very impressive watch that feels such a nice balance of modern with vintage heritage.

Lovely watch.
Asked to be put on the EOI for this one. Getting more popular says the AD (though nowhere as popular as the other professional SS models). I see it as a very practical daily wearer. |

It’s certainly for me the best Rolex, Iv had all sports models since I started in 1987. Never have more than one at a time thought!! my least favourite was the Daytona as a former professional race driver it just didn’t do the job of a highly legible chronograph as well as other options available to me at the time, my other favourite was maybe a vintage 5513.

Nice watch, always tempting me. How long did you have to wait for it?

Congrats, although your wrist should usually fit well with a 39 or 40 because it’s the normal size

36-39 size seems to be a great fit for many, many people.
My flattish arm is really small (6-1/8" - 155mm) and that range, especially the way Rolex down-turns the lugs close to their cases, works out perfectly for me.

I put my name down for an Explorer when it was still 39. I'm so glad that I didn't get to buy one before the move to 36.
Though it did feel small when I first tried it, I love the size now. To me, it's the perfect watch. A perfect combination of smart and sporty.
