There is another dial variation (MK2) I have come across which appears to be interwoven across a 4 year period from 2010 where the dial nearly matches the earlier MK1, apart from the = between ft and 300 is indented to the left and closer to “ft” and the serif is snubbed or less prominent on "superlative chronometer officially certified". |

No such thing as all these Mk dials as they only exist in internet land, dials are made in 3 different factories now all owned by Rolex. So there always have been and always will be tiny variations to fonts etc to most all Rolex dials.

Absolutely. It’s just a load of nonsense dreamed up by owners and sellers to make their watches seem a tiny bit more “rare”.

Yes.. I'm going to buy a 2010 116610LV with the same dial and I don't see alot of this dial on a 2010 to 2014 116610LV. I'm thinking is the dial been swapped to another 116610LV.

Exactly trouble today many worry and fret about any slight font changes on there watches instead of just wearing and enjoying there watches.

I have a Hulk dated 2019 on the warranty card but with the MK2 dial. According to that manifesto, MK2 dial were available from 2010-2014.
If it bothers you that much don't buy it? |

No I got it maybe 3 weeks ago from very reputable grey market. Probably sold as NOS in 2019 but in actuality an older model. I mean the average buyer probably won't care about dial variations to be honest, they're very minute. Between MK1 and MK2 = spacing is different. MK3 the "FT" font is taller/italic and the font is bolder.
Really not huge differences. |
