Hey all.

A question:

If a watch has been left on a magnetic object such as computer speaker (it
shouldn't be very magnetic and yer) for few hours:

a) would it damage the watch?
b) can the damage be fixed?

Most computer speakers have crappy little magnets that wouldn't attract iron filings, no harm. A decent speaker with a massive magnet that you could hang on your refrigerator is another matter entirely.

Can be demagnetized no problem.

Very great thanks! was scared for a second, it's not a huge speaker but I do have big monitors on my computer that serves me for recordings...
Nevertheless, after rapid check, my watch still runs crazy for +1 sec per hour, hopefully my AD will be able to identify and fix the problem in place without me having to spend a lot of time without my Explorer...

I work in a RF field everyday. Work on 3 FM transmitters today at two different sites. I have never had any issues with a Rolex in a big EMF.
