If AD has a watchmaker that can do the adjustment, it'll only less than an hour. If it's under warranty and AD will send it out to a RSC, then 2-4 weeks.

Well you say its running fast by how much ?, some ADs have watchmaker on site take around 30 mins to regulate re-seal pressure test.

Set the time according to the greenwichmeantime.com, and also my mobile phone, now i'll wait for a good 7 hours, if there will be no significat change such as earlier i'll no something was fixed, and if it will be about a second in 7 hours this will be good enough for me to be finally relaxed... And yes, no more putting my watch on my speakers, from now on, on my hand or back to it's box

My Explorer was a screamer also- good thing was it was consistent in all positions. My local watchmaker who I trust very much had it regulated in about 45 min. Plus he let me back at his bench and explained the whole process. In the end he was only going to charge me 10 dollars for the service, I gave him the 10 and an extra 10 to pick up lunch.

Sounds like there was nothing actually wrong with the watch per se, more like you got it magnetized from the speaker which will make it go like a train with no brakes. I did that to one of my watches once, though not a speaker it was one of those self serve check out scanners at the library, apparently they are full of magnets. I had had the watch one day and it was 20 seconds fast! the guy knew straight way, put it on the demagnetizer and it was perfect!
Did you tell them you put it on a speaker, if so I bet the just demagnetized it! |

I purchased my Explorer from an out of state AD so I could evade paying sales tax. I thought about taking it to one of my local ADs but I was unsure if they would ship it out as I didn't purchase it there. Fortunately my favorite watchmaker was the head guy at a Rolex AD for years so he really knows his trade.

Well all, a stone off my heart...
Padi 56 you are right, but since I wear every watch that I have for 3 days and then switch to another, I only wanted to know that it's not running like a mad man...so 20 sec a day did bother me, but now it's seems spot on, estimating for about 1-3 sec a day. I also looked at the movement with a maginfying glass, seems now like a flewless rapid smooth movement, as an perpetual movement should be. Finally can switch calmly to the Longines for the next few days sharing my respect to the official Roland Garros timekeeper! Thanks all!
