TT Sub : Buy Now or wait for Ceramic (2009) Model??
Hi Fellow Rolexers,
I've just come into some moolah, and I've always wanted a TT Sub (SS & 18K YG w/Blue Dial & Bezel). Question is : Should I get it now (available ex-stock 'M-series') or wait until the new '09 Ceramic Bezel makes an appearance? |

the TT sub-c are already available (at least they are in the rolex 2009 catalog).

I know that I am probably in the minority but I would go with the non-ceramic TT sub.

ceramic, I think the non-ceramic's will take a hit for a while and eventually rebound but for the time being the TT ceramic Sub will be the "it" watch unless they come out with a coke or pepsi GMT ceramic

Official word from Rolex Singapore is that they do not expect it until the end of the year.
Have you seen one locally? Anyway, spoke with Hour Glass and they were quoting S$12,733 (list) for the 'M-series'. (Would not discuss discount over the phone). What would be a 'decent' price to pay? |

Personally I would wait for the ceramic since I love my IIc.
For you, I recommend waiting if you can stand it. Then you can look at both and try them on and make your decision then. Worst thing would be to buy the current model and then 6 months from now find that you wish you had waited.

I have seen the blue on the newer subs. Just not for me.
The classic blue TT 16613 is THE most beautiful TT watch there is IMHO
