White gold daytona oysterflex 116519ln
Hi guys.
How much in demand and how cool is this particular watch when compared to the other Daytonas that are available within the current Rolex catalogue? I'm looking at purchasing a current model Cosmograph of some kind and particularly like this option with the grey dial. If all of the currently produced Daytonas were placed in order of desirability where would the 116519ln figure? Whilst I appreciate beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, what's the generally accepted opinion of which are currently the most desirable Daytona models? Thanks in advance, I'm looking for as much sage advice and help that you can all offer! I |

I thought the YG newman dial would be top 4. Good news for me as I'm waiting for one.

If a first time Rolex buyer were to walk into an AD, how long would it take to get say a 116519-0027 WG, gray dial, OF?

I think that out of the OF Daytonas, the WG is the most popular.
You said the whole Daytona catalog, I would obviously say that the SS models are the most in demand, followed by the OF. The TTs are somewhere after that. Now for the PM models, the OF still are commanding more interest than the full metal variants sans the YG green dial and the WG blue dial. |

I presume the platinum version places somewhere between the SS and the OF then? |

The grey dial OF is a true stunner in my humble view. It looks harmonious and pleasing to the eye.

It's a beautiful watch, one of the most striking Daytona's, IMO.
Now, as far as desirability "rankings"...there is no such thing. It's such a cliche I hate to even type it out, but here goes: Just get the watch you like. Anything past that point and you're in danger of sucking the fun out of the hobby. |
