Are the casebacks see-through sapphire on the steel 41mm ROC's?

Any word on retail? Considering the older versions with similar dials on the ROC 41MM are trading in the mid 50s, these will be on the secondary market probably closer to $75K+ and continue to push up the older versions market.

Nvm: I see chrono is 33,800 USD

It seems the AP logo is no longer included in the dial designs (besides the diamonds). I quite like the AP logo.

Mid 50’s? I see you haven’t checked in the last week… Asking prices have gone (more) insane.

Still happy with my 26331 Panda, but the new 41mm steel ROCs look surprisingly great!

Agreed. I just missed out on a new Panda 26331 (fabulous watch) last year but having waited for one of the new steel 25th ROC’s launched today seems worthwhile on paper…..assuming I get the call that is….

Hey look! It's a Royal Oak!

...

same-same but different I guess. Just like the 15400, I think 15450 looks better.

I also like the AP logo as a part of the watch. Seems like it's missing something now.

Can someone explain the bracelet taper/new initial links to me? It sounds like the width leaving the case is the same but it tapers more significantly? I already think the bracelet is too thin on the 37/38mm versions so I wonder how this will compare

I think this image from the AP site helps explain it. The side profile shows the trapezoidal shape of the first few links off the case

width leaving the case looks noticeably less and i guess because of that, it tapers less than a 15450. if you look at the 15450 on the site and flip back and forth with the new models you should see it. i think i prefer the older bracelet in this case

Assume these will be the heavy hitters at first glance, money wise.

Looks like “Audemars Piguet” is for the RO line and the “AP” only logo for ROO one.

I think the “50” year rotor is tacky.

I'll find a way to live with that if I can get my hand on one of the smoked dial YG or RG 16202s...

Smoked and green dials are very cool.

I’m confused as to whether older RO references produced in 2022 will have the anniversary rotor, for example the 15500. All the AP literature and press don’t seem to note this.

I see what you guys mean now. So the bracelet overall seems skinnier leaving the case. Wonder what it tapers down to at the clasp. Not sure I prefer this TBH on the smaller ones as they were already kinda small

yeah i think a lot of people didn't like the aggressive taper on the 15450 which does look a bit weird if you hold it with the bracelet open in your hand but when it's on the wrist i find that it looks perfect. would have to see the new one in person i guess. the 15202 has the best proportions imo, and it's the only RO where the links coming out of the case are tapered the least. weird that they're going away from that

Agreed! Love those broad shoulders on the 202 followed by the taper which is perfection. Still trying to the find the next closest thing in other models

I think the 50 years rotor left in gold color would be better, than the "matching case color" white gold. All luxury watches use gold/platinum as rotors, while entry level sports watches use normal steel. This makes the caseback look more like the latter

Is a shame they’ve lost the AP logo on some pieces, always liked that! Big plus on an open caseback on the chrono models though. The new darker blue and green dials are stunning.
