Watch roll for my wife

Greetings all,

I have been in the hobby for quite some time. Three years ago, I decided to buy my wife her first luxury watch.

Suffice to say, she is now into watches as well, and even likes to bring multiples on a trip to accessorize. The problem is, her wrist are so small my watch rolls cannot house her watches. We had to wrap them in microfibercloths and roll them up in ziploc bags.

Any ideas or suggestions for a travel storage solution?

Do you feel like they offer ample protection?

I looked into them, but I was looking for something a little more robust.

Yes. Never have any scratches using them so far. Seems like people don’t get your problem. I too have a wife with really tiny wrist. So small that sometimes she can’t buy certain watches because even when they take all removable links it still won’t fit her. Her watches won’t fit using regular thing that come with a regular watch roll. I’ve seen the new brown Rolex watch pouch and it looks like it has a soft cushion inside that might offer a better protection than the old green ones.

Thank you for your reply.

This is exactly why I was asking if anyone had any luck finding a watch roll. Pretty much the same circumstance. All removable links are removed. I know watch pouches are an option. I also know that my wife is a little more brutal with her things than I am. So I was hoping someone would have a recommendation for a watch roll.

As for the other comments about too many threads. This is an enthusiast forum and we ask enthusiast questions.

There are the same 100 threads daily about the grey market pricing.

Same post about ADs not supplying people watches.

Same incoming post of the same standard rolex submariner.

What is proper etiquette to what questions can be asked and what questions cannot?

Actually, so true. There are countless examples to see online. So many companies sell them. And you can pay next to nothing for a suitable one or spend hundreds of dollars on one. The options are endless and there is probably not a bad choice. They all work.

Why? All my wifes watches fit around any type of travel pillow whether in a roll or otherwise?

As silly as this sounds I always use a pair of socks. One sock to use as sort of a watch roll the other to wrap around it.

I just did a quick Google search for "watch roll for small diameter watch band" and this was a result that came up:

Carapaz makes a great watch roll and you can request that they swap standard cushions for smaller cushions. My wife’s watch could be jammed onto the standard roll but why load up the bracelet so much when there is an elegant solution.

OP, it looks like Carapaz offers a "small" sized cushion to go along with their watch rolls. This should solve your problem :)

Would it be possible to buy some foam and cut that to size to fit the circumference of your wife's watch strap size? I know it's not ideal but then use some foam as extra padding in the watch roll you then pick. The foam you pick could be in the same or similar colour. I think many wife's would like a LV watch roll, it may become very expensive my friend.

Not ideal, I know but hope it helps.

My first thought as well.

Thanks OP for asking! Female here…my wrists are quite small as well. I use Casebudi individual cases then use a small cloth wrap around with if needed. JenniElle specializes in small style Watch rolls; if you can get one. They are always sold out!
