Mini man, did you say you were on the list for this....

....I sold the 221 to get some fast cash for Andie. She got her mind made up that she was going to buy new curtains throughout the house and also redecorate the guest bathroom. (I have no idea why, we don't have guests ever!)

So I surprised her with the cash (and saved my bloody credit card!!!) and with the money I had left over I bought a.........duh, Panerai of course.

Here is the latest addition, I am back to three BASEs in the family, I will get a group shot of the three later this week.

A watch for a lefty as worn by a rightie. Very cool and different watch indeed.

PAM 219

Wrist shot....

Opps, wrong one, here it is....

Self taken portrait....

Notices the spaghetti on his face, I had to include it.

And one more pose. He wears this old Nike Triax watch everyday for at least half the day. I may have a problem ahead of me.

Thanks John and Craig.

Craig, I know you didn't want me to sell the 221, but I have just become a fan of wearing my watches on straps. And the seller was legit, so you don't need to go shoot him for me.

That is one of the three on my waiting list.
My plan for the 219,is, my wife is left handed , and is getting pretty serious about her Panerai .
So this would be one we could both use.
At this time, she has the 40 MM white faced Luminor with FOUR straps.
I will try for pictures of hers soon.
VERY NICE addition to you family.
And don't worry about Dylan, he will grow out of his watch habits......

In about 70 years.

LOL! Yes Ed, it looks bleak for him. I am trying to tell him that watches are bad.

I knew you were pumped about the 221.
But, I really know what you mean about the strap.
I do like my Rolex, but I so much prefer the feel of the leather strap.

On my wrist, you bunch of deviants.

Great pictures Daren must say it looks quite strange on the wrist.

Thanks Padi, that is what I like so much about it, the look. I can't believe how comfortable it is to wear with the crown on the other side. Not that the other way is a problem, this is just too cool.

Thanks Adam, you gotta love the BASE. In fact I do so much that I am back to owning 3 of them.

Daren, great jesture and you came out of it with a sweet watch. While I quite like the 221, I think the destro is just too rad for mum and dad. Especially when worn on the left wrist... nice conversation piece.

On the strap front, I hear ya brudda. I find straps just SOOO much more comfortable than even the nicest bracelet.
