My 3,000th Post!
For my 3000th post on this forum I just wanted to reflect on the years on this forum (since 2007).
1. It has been fun! 2. A great place to get ideas and opinions from “birds of feather” 3. Have enjoyed a few GTG’s that I have attended. 4. A great place to buy or sell a watch. 5. Made a few friends. 6. Driven my wife crazy because she does not understand the hobby of having multiple watches and when you get sick of them, sell and move to another.. 7. Bought 3 watches for my children for college graduation from forum members. Point #1 really stands for me. Thanks for the experience and many more posts to come! |

Great post. You listed a few sentiments that I forgot but also agree with. Took me 10 years to get to the big . Seems like you and I operate along the pace. Slow and steady lol Congrats on the 3k

Congrats on 3K posts! Great list! Hopefully in #6, you didn't drive your wife too crazy with this hobby. Lol!
Glad that you are fully enjoying the watch collecting hobby and your "stay" here on TRF. #1 is definitely the best and I fully agree! Lots of great people and great conversations here. Here's to another 3K posts in the years to come!

Congrats on reaching the 3,000 post milestone, Bill! It's certainly fun and an essential part of the journey (for this hobby) in my opinion. Like, congrats for wasting soooooo much time on an Internet forum. Don’t get me wrong, I love your posts and the forum. I’m also very aware of how much time I have wasted based on my post count. But I too agree with #1!! Obviously. Ha. So I’ll simply say, keep it up. You are a valued member of this great forum. And thank you for your contributions.
