Sub LN vs Pepsi

Sub LN - black dial and bezel insert. Can be date or no date

Pepsi - can be Oyster or Jubilee

What's your pick?

GMT on a brushed oyster, otherwise Submariner.

if i had to limit my collection to only two rolex ss sports watches, would probably be these two (114060 and 126710 on jubilee).

if forced, would probably select the blro for it's versatility and complication, but very happy i don't have to choose.

I have both. I would probably keep the GMT as it was a birth year watch for my daughter and my DJ36 could fill in for the Sub. Don’t plan on selling either and they split wrist time pretty equally.

Im fortunate to have both a 116610LN and 126710BLRO. I will say the sub gets more time on my wrist but wouldn’t want to part with either. I’m thinking of adding a Daytona next to have the perfect trio!

I use the GMT function so I'll always go for a GMT over a diver although I would aim to have both types of watch in my collection.

Pepsi on jubilee and the Submariner, preferably together but in that order if one or the other.

FWIW, I wear my black sub more often. But the Pepsi gives me a bigger smile when I do wear it.

I vote GMT

I always thought it would be the Pepsi but I’m not so sure. I love my 124060. Maybe it’s the brushed bracelet or the fact that it’s just plain black. Both get equal wrist time as I pretty much rotate monthly. A cop out answer.. ☺️

I like both…but if I had to pick one, it would be the Submariner LN.

I can wear the Submariner every day and in virtually all circumstances.

I don’t think I’d want to wear the Pepsi every day; color for me can be somewhat tiring IF an every day affair. Also, it’s more flashy…another reason it’s not an every day watch for me.

Sub wins.

The numbers on the GMT bezel have always looked too large to me

I love a Submariner, but not the all black. My vote goes to the Pepsi.

Depends on content of the full collection. BLRO on jubilee is amazing. I own both and Pepsi gets much more wrist time.

I have and own the Sub 126610LN for almost 3 months now and it’s my daily wearer. Both great pieces though in my opinion I’d have to with the Sub LN.

Can be worn in all conditions/events and it’ll be a show stopper in the office or at the beach. At the same time with the black dial on black ceramic bezel, it can also just blend right in and be discreet.
Its very impressive how this watch can do that. It’s like a chameleon.

Funny was thinking about this today..I have a 124060 and a 126710BLNR and decided to let the 124060 go in favor of the GMT.

I love the Sub no date but the GMT's just fit my wrist better...and I like the look of course too.
