What exactly is involved in the eBay authentication process?
A simple question... what exactly is involved in the process? Do the watchmakers at Stoll & Company actually open the case back to verify the authenticity of the movement as well as look at the dial under the loupe? Or do they only glance and verify that the watch matches the photos and the description as listed on the eBay listing? I tend to think they do the latter but I could be wrong. It seems the verify/ authenticate within couple of hours of receiving the watch. What say you? I'm not sure if they are trained in Rolex, PP, AP, Omega, etc. or only on low to mid tier luxury watches.
