Green Pouch Giveaway #3 - A Rolex Limerick
We have 3 brand new Genuine Rolex Green Suede Pouches to give away.
A Rolex limerick is a five-line Rolex related poem with a strict form, originally popularized in English by Edward Lear, which intends to be witty or humorous, and is sometimes obscene with humorous intent. Work on your limerick, it takes a bit of thought, take a break and come back to it if you get stuck. Conditions of entry: 1. Anyone can enter (except me) and entry is free of charge. 2. Enter as many times as you wish, but the most you can win is one (1) pouch. This giveaway closes midnight on Sunday next week 25 July 2009. Judge's decisions are final. Another in the series of themes "Rolex and ....." giveaways. Good luck to all and thanks for participating. EXAMPLES: There once was a Rolex called Sub He used to love washing himself in the tub One day he forgot..... to screw his crown down And alas he got screwed in the tube. There once was a man called Lol-x He thought he knew all about Rolex Little did he know The whole forum knew unto themselves That old Lol-x was full of just Bollock-x

Very good but remember to be eligible the limerick must have some degree of connection with 'Rolex'.

Our own JJ had a disaster
His hair fell out faster and faster When it was all gone He had a bright shiny dome Like the PCL's on his Yachtmaster

Should not a limerick rhyme in lines 1, 2 & 5 and and rhyme in line 3 & 4? That is what I've learned once upon a time.

I got a stainless steel Sub,
I can wear it in the shower and tub. When it is off my wrist It really is missed That is why I'm in this WIS club. ------------------------------------ I really am quite choosy, My watch choice was a doozy. I passed on the rest, and selected the best That is why I am wearing a Bluesy. ----------------------------------- People ask, which Rolex is the best? for people who wants to invest. Hey, it's not a stock share, you buy it to wear It is not meant to be stored in a chest. ------------------------------------- I am getting a new Rolex today, How much am I going to pay? It looks like a deal, you could call it a steal Since I am buying it off of Ebay. ------------------------------------- I here watching the British Open, the course is weedy and slopin' They say the winner gets The Claret Jug and a Rolex As a winner that's what I would be hopin'. ---------------------------------------------- Is your Rolex is too shiny and clean? I think you know what I mean If you are afraid of a scratch on the bezel or latch That is why we call you a safe queen.

Within Rolex there's been much debate
About moving the position of the date I just can't see That the switch from the three Makes sense, unless you move it to 8 |
