16610LV and 168000

I noticed the short run 168000 and the early 16610LV green subs share the same oval O in Rolex? anyone notice this before? any other sport models with the oval O ?

Pic are borrowed for illistration

I had not noticed that on my 168000, I just checked and confirmed that mine has it as well.

The two variations exist and I don't know if there is a pattern to which Rolex follows when to use the round or oval "O".
Earlier LV's have oval O and rounded O after the F-serial
