New Two/Tone Sub 116613
It is now available for sale in Greece
MSRP euro 8100 exhange approximately $1.42 ($11,500) price icludes sales tax or VAT of 19% (export price $9,300 before discount) In the USA maybe $10,300, not sure, but actually high, if you consider that tax will have to be added The discount available at the moment no more than 25%... if that as this is a brand new watch and not widely available also, difficult to get the VAT back for export outside the EU, because good store clients have first choice and I doubt that the local AD will be interested to sell it... to an outsider. I also doubt that they will get more than one watch each So I guess those who would like to be the "first in the block" prepare to pay around ..$9,300.-..and possibly more [/QUOTE] |

Ad or not to be?
Is $9.300.00 or more the projected AD price or the grey market one?

Good price, Anastosia........US$9,300 translates into around NZ$14,300.
MSRP on that watch here in Auckland is NZ$17,200......so almost 3 grand (Kiwi bucks) off list is not bad. JJ

Seems awfully high when you consider that for about the same price you can get a TT GMT-II with an additional complication. But, some like the simplicity of dial on a Sub versus that of the GMT. At this price point though, I think I'll save a little more and go for the YG DD-II.

That is very nice...but that price is crazy...I have to agree that the TT GMT is a better deal considering the movement. Can't wait to see one in person.

I saw one in the Lloret del Mar ( costa brava , Spain ) this week. I personally do not go for TT watches , but have to admitt that it is a good looking watch , it seems more " glossy" and a " richer" blue in the ceramic version .
By the way , they had 2 white dial and on black dial SS daytona in stock at RRP ( 7360 euro) in stock . Not in the window display , but in the Rolex salon wall display along with some master pieces . They are not selling anything at the moment . |

AD here in SA said the blue ceramic looks identical to the YG version. It appears to have lost it's royal blue look. I am not a big fan of the bluesy, rather have the black.

Just out of interest, (i didnt think it had, but someone who preordered one here recently seemed to suggest otherwise) - did you see the glidelock clasp? I was of the belief that it was going to be the updated fliplock. WOW i'm exvited now, keep the news coming! |
