Santa really was good to you this year! Beautiful watch. I love the vintage 1675 Pepsi. I hope to have one myself one day. Congrats and enjoy!

Seattle. Cool. I'm in Sammamish.

I'm not a vintage guy. Can you explain why you say not for a purist?

Cool looking watch.

That's a beautiful watch and, while I'm not a vintage purist, I really don't think that routine maintenance of a watch diminishes the value at all.

Maybe some people would prefer a watch that is crumbling, corroded, and semi-functional, but for myself, I want my watches to look good, and to work, even the vintage ones. Normal external signs of wear are okay with me.

Congratulations.

A movement service sure, but the other parts getting replaced does affect the value but you already knew this.

You really think there is someone out there that wants a semi functional watch? Come on now.
