Bleu nuit nuage 50
According to AP website 16202 and 15510 share the same color.
Yet, even on the pictures on their respective pages, Jumbo color seems a little darker. On the pictures and videos I have seen in various posts Jumbo always looks a little darker. Is it because of the different tapisserie? Is it the exact same color and the pictures trick us? |

I believe it’s correct that they are the exact same color. That’s what made the 15510 a little more special than its immediate predecessors. But even if you had both the 16202 and 15510 on your wrist at the same time, depending on angles and lighting they’ll look different when the shot is taken. A truly magical dial color that can really only be appreciated in the flesh. (Photos in the 50th Anniversary coffee table book appear pretty accurate.) In my mind, the redesigned 15510 is the best of all worlds — setting aside historical significance for a minute. It really comes off as a 16202 on the wrist with just slightly more presence.

Do we know if the "Bleu nuit nuage 50" is going to continue after the 50th anniversary watches (outside of the jumbo)?
I had heard they were switching back, but do not have confirmation. |

The post-50th models on the AP site are still listed with Bleu Nuit (e.g., 50th 41mm RO was 15510ST.OO.1320ST.01, 2023 model is 15510ST.OO.1320ST.06, both with "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50").
