Yellow gold and sport watches

It seems to me that all major brands have almost completely gotten rid of yellow gold watches and have been majorly focused on rose gold. Although I like rose gold, my entire wardrobe and accessories are primarily yellow gold and am quite OCD when it comes to mixing metals. Finding a non dressy watch in yellow gold that could be on a OEM rubber strap is proving itself to be quite challenging. Apart from the yachtmaster 42 in yellow gold, there isn’t much selection for this type of configuration. Any suggestions or brands to look at?

If you insist on a rubber strap I can't help. But the AP 15202 came in yellow gold and the does 16202 as well. If you go neo-vintage or vintage there are tons of gold sports watches from AP, IWC, Patek, and VC.

The Cartier Santos still comes in 18K YG. While it comes with both a YG bracelet and a leather strap, you can get an OEM rubber strap for it from the boutique. With this, you'll have at least three separate looks.

New Rolex YG GMT with jubilee bracelet looks amazing, I would love to have one.

I just bought a new Cartier Santos medium size in YG, it came with alligator strap also, it’s gorgeous.

AP RO also has YG model.

Like any fashion trend, precious metal has its ups and downs, as do gems and stones.

A few years ago everybody was wearing turquoise, but you would think that is was no longer in existence!!

Same with yellow gold; it just isn't as popular today as it was in days gone by. Back in the 70's yellow gold was the norm, now it seems to be less ostentatious metals - if it gets worn at all. You know, might clash with the iphone case.

I think yellow gold is coming back and rose gold is on the wane. The YM OF YG is a huge hit. I think AP brought out a YG RO lately.

I agree that Breguet is an excellent choice. Very nice finish and crafted with care...also looks great on a rubber strap.

Full YG black sub and then with a black rubber strap could be a good idea
