Expert opinions needed on 114060 authentication

Hi folks! Eric here, new in TRF. Will potentially be getting a pre-owned Rolex 114060, my very first. A friend is selling this at a good price, but want to do my due diligence first and seek expert advise to check authenticity. All feedback are welcome. Sharing here multiple shots of the watch head, engravings, bracelets and codes. Thanks in advance!

Blur the serial number asap before a scammer comes on here and grabs it

I’ve owned one of these. Looks good to me

I’d get it and serviced fairly soon then you’ll be happy you know for sure.

I’ve a 114060. Never removed the bracelet so can’t say in terms of the engravings but everything else looks spot on.

That said I’d want to see it with the back off. Some clones are ridiculously good.

Here is a little helpful test. In the bezel there should be a small gap between the case and the bezel. If you push down on it it should have a bit of a spring in it. Even the best clones out there haven’t got this part right yet.

My observation:

The bracelet has mirror polished inner clasp which is post 2015.

The space between "300 m" is pre 2015.

Hi sir, thanks for the feedback! Does this mean that the watch has different year production parts? Or this is possible due to the transition timing?

More importantly….how real is your friend? Meaning, how much do you trust him?

I’d buy from a real seller. Don’t save a couple buck and take the Risk. box and paper?

I haven’t saved any pics of my end links but the only thing I can think of is the 2 different 3 digit codes on the inside of the endlinks

Maybe that’s normal. I can’t recall

Other than that I think it’s fine and maybe even that’s fine

As to the engraving on the case here are few you can compare of mine. All real. All from A D’s

I’d consider getting a loupe and looking at some of the fine details such as the center of the hand stack and clasp engravings. Everything should be essentially perfect under magnification.

Given the fact that you have box and docs, I think everything looks legit. Nothing looks weird to me. The laser etched crown looks spot on. Most importantly, buy the seller. If you trust him, you’re good!
