Bought a broken Rolex Submariner 16800, is it authentic
Bought a broken Rolex Submariner ref 16800 for $1,000 and questioning it's authenticity.
Can anyone see anything out of the ordinary with these pictures (will get better pics once I have it in possession). |

lol.. I figured this was too good to be true. The clasp definitely is questionable.
Luckily my credit card company will take care of any issues but I was hoping there was a slim chance I hit the lottery.. No more late night hunting.. |

You paid $1k for this? Ugh, that sucks. Hope you can get your money back. This watch is junk.

Because if not, this is more a case of you gambling $1,000 for the slight chance of it being genuine (despite the very obvious signs it's a fake). And since it was confirmed to be a fake, then you should lose the $1,000. It doesn't make sense to gamble on something but not suffer the consequences if you lose. |

I got one of these in a Tokyo back street for $10 about 25 years ago. It was my very first "Rolex."
Even that was over-priced. |

We've had some bad ones, recently... but that's a contender for top spot!
