I agree with DRAWTOOL....you can do A LOT better if you'd consider purchasing from one of our dealers here. Check out the references section!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. Is Wales the UK Wales, if so I think 15% is a good deal.

Cool. When you say one of our dealers here, are they authorised dealer or grey dealers? I'm more interested in the price (yes, I know they are more competitive) and international warranty they can offer.
They maybe ideal and worthwhile for the US buyers, but for other countries may not be - import duty comes to mind.

Congratulations and welcome!! This is a great forum with super members. What's important with any deal is whether you are happy and are enjoying your watch. If you feel you have been fairly treated and believe you got a fair deal, they enjoy your new watch and don't look back.

Congratulations on the new watch..

You know, you really aren't going to get good answers to your question...

There will always be some who say they could have got it cheaper..

Those who say they would have bargained harder

Those that compared each serial number and assigned a fuzzy depreciation for each that might not be as fresh as another..

Those who think the profit margin is outrageous and they should give them away until their credit/debit balance is zero.

And those who would have got you a better deal if you only had the foresight to call them first...

The bottom line...did you do your homework / Do you feel like you got a reasonable deal and are comfortable with it ??

Peace of mind is much better than what somebody else is convinced would be better or worse...

Enjoy it for a lifetime...........

Congrats and welcome!

Two questions to ask:
  1. Are you happy with the watch?
  2. Are you unhappy about how much you paid?

If you answer 'yes' to #1 and 'no' to #2 then you paid exactly the right price!

In twenty years when you look at your Rollie you'll be saying 'wow, I still love this watch'. You won't be saying 'geez, I paid too much for this back in 2009'.

yeh, you didnt do too bad... considering its the uk, 15% off your first rolex purchase (im assuming) is ok as a lot of ADs here dont even entertain the idea of discounts...

anyways enough of this... where are the pics?

by the way welcome to the forum...

Congrats on the watch! Great choice!

My view is that you've spent the money so don't look back or keep wondering whether you got a good deal.
