Stainless Daytona Black Face

For what reasons is the SS Daytona such a hot item?

It's historically been tough to come by and everyone wants something they can't get. Including me (until earlier this year).

It's a great watch, not for everyone but it's often seen as one of the most sought after in the watch world.

I my humble opinion, I really like the blackface SS daytona for several reasons.

1) The dial is so robust and dashing looking, i have seen whitedials in the public and it dosen't even get half the compliments of a blackdial SS

2) it's more of a man's sport watch, it looks very mature

3) The blackdial compliments the silver polished overtones outside the watch.

4) Get one as quickly as possible because it is indeed a very hot item.

Well one of the first things purchasing a watch that cost over 10k to obtain is to make sure all of the paperwork are authenticated rolex, take the band off and make sure that the serial numbers are the correct one's as indicated on the warranty paperwork , remove the case back to the watch and have someone with you that knows rolex movement and can identify it.

Call rolex in switzerland to have the serial number of the watch ran through the system , this legwork can save you a lot of trouble of having a non rolex watch.

Make sure it is an AD ( authorized Dealer) not a pawn shop or second hand store.

Listen i called switzerland on both of my Rolex timepieces and although it took some time to get an answer , they sure helped me out when i spoke to someone there.

1. Expensive! Not all can afford a $10K watch and it's not that easy to get even if you've got the $$$$, making it very exclusive!

2. It's a SEXY watch!

3. Due to the high demand, it has great resale value.
