The super fakes are too good to tell from pictures. Only the very obvious fakes can be confirmed on the forum.

You need to take extreme caution when buying these, the old saying is buy the seller not the watch.

Try to get it independently certified. If you're buying remotely from a private buyer be prepared to lose that money before going ahead blind.

Thanks for your feedback! My only concern is that the watch could probably be good, but I don't know the quadrant.

So you suggest going directly to a Rolex official shop to check it there? Do they do this kind of service?

Do you know how much it costs to go into an official Rolex shop and ask for authenticity? do you know if all of them they do it?

I think I said get it independent authentication. Not sure why you need to go off on one of independent can mean a number of various options

I asked my local AD to do an authenticity check, they do repairs onsite and are listed as an RSC. They told me just to ask for a service estimate. The service estimate will have them open up the watch and check the parts. They won’t work on a watch that has any non-Rolex parts. I got an estimate back in about 3 days. It is a free estimate.

The images are terrible but if those are scratches on the hands, it‘s certainly a red flag.

Can you see the etched Rolex crown on the crystal around 6?

Shouldn't the hang tag be white?

Rolex stopped in 2015 with the green hang tags and replaced these with white ones. The tag does not belong to the watch.

If you don’t trust the seller then don’t buy it. We can’t authenticate the watch from pictures. We can only spot the poor fakes.

Most of the shenangans with these are real OP's with fake aftermarket dials. Called one seller out on it on one of the FB groups.

The white tag should have a dial #14, the hour markers silver sides are so shiny they look like laser cut, crown on dial is curvier than other rolexes, hands white gold polish is much better than previous models, springy clasp end moves up without sound

These types of hyped watches should be either bought from A.D or thru trusted sellers here.Unless you are highly experienced don’t buy them from sources you don’t know. You May end loosing big time.

Exactly. Who is selling the watch will be the biggest clue.

Watch may be authentic, but the dial is not. Box is not authentic and the green rectangular hang tag predates this model. Given the evidence, I would strongly suggest passing on this watch.
