Vintage, little know, I love it

My first “real” watch as a vintage collector. Picked up this triple date in 1992, my best guess is that it’s a 1968 ref. You don’t hear much about Wakmann but this watch has been a highlight of my collection all these years. Not too shabby with the Valjoux 730 movement.

In the last year I have gotten into vintages and love them more then
current modern watches which last the charm and pizazz of vintage pieces

This is Santos Ronde Octagon Ref. 2965, the dealer told me that this was a special catalogue piece commissioned by a VIP back in the 1980s.

I love the Octo too but most of them are in smaller size. Do you know what is the biggest size for Octo?

40mm for a square watch feels more like 46mm

Well done, OP!

My vintage include a WWII era Pierce pilots chronograph and 1973 Seiko 6139.
