Some ADs are now getting the new TT ceramic Subs. A SS ceramic Sub hasn't been released yet by Rolex. Many predict this will happen at next year's Basel Fair.

You actually saw a S/S Sub 116610? What did it look like? There has been a lot of speculation on various threads about what the expected new S/S ceramic sub would be like, when it would come out, would it have polished center links, etc. Thanks for any info on this!

I've seen them already displayed in Florida ADs. Have not seen them in NY or NJ, as I was told they sell out immediately???
NorCal ADs have told me they can be ordered and delivered within a week, not sure the true wait time though. This is true for TT model only. Last edited by wcl884; 17 September 2009 at 06:05 AM.. Reason: Clarification |

I was told next month by my local AD. I've seen two for sale on the internet in the UK, one new and another used but condition described as 10/10. The latters about £1k less than list!!
Its a watch i'm interested in as i fancy something TT.

At Ernest Jones I was told the other day that had been informed that they would only get the new models in when the old ones had all been sold.
I saw both colours in Switzerland 3 weeks ago. You need a trip to Zurich! There might be some good deals on the 16613 models. P. |

I'm sorry that pic was the day I got it and I wasn't sure that I wanted the TT GMT IIc instead.

Rang Goldsmiths in Nottingham today and they say end of October. Seems that ones for sale in USA on this forum haven't been snapped up even with a discount. Ive seen one for sale at a non AD in London Its for sale with a 1k discount! Im interested in this watch but i doubt AD's will be offering discounts of that size anytime soon.

They've been in Oslo AD for a month along with DJIIs. They could've opted to get it earlier, but the DJII would then have been delayed in delivery... DSSDs are also plenty.

I have spoken to a couple of ADs in Uk today and they are checking with Rolex to confirm when the first batch are due to be delivered - I was looking at a 16613 as I thought there may be some good deals but ideally I would like to try alongside the 116613LB to compare. I will let you know how I get on

I guess price difference and 4th hand, but it looks way too similar to a TT GMT IIC...just my opinion

I've seen them in a couple of the AD's.
For the newer models, I prefer the black. but I'm a fan of bluesy 16613

My local AD had both black and blue dial in display. Not willing to discount them much though.

Have had one on the wrist, and will hopefully come home with a black dial soon...
Beware the photos of bluesy C...had the original bluesy next to the new Bluesy c, and even the saleswoman had to admit...The original dial is soooo much better so much richer so much more bluesy... the new ceramic is quite smurfy and matte by comparison. The Black on the other hand.....Absolutely stunning!!! MUST HAVE.... the opposite of the previous run of Sub Twotones where bluesy was king...In the Ceramic era, I think Black will rule! |
