Who's your favorite AD or Grey in Boston

Hey everyone!

I'm going home for a quick visit this weekend and was thinking about doing some self-Birthday shopping while I'm up there.

I will probably visit the AD on Newbury St, but was wondering if any here had a favorite shop? I'll be staying in Newton, but don't mind a bit of a drive it it's worth it.

Thanks!

European Watch Co. Haven’t been to their store but I have purchased from them and the transaction was flawless

As you stated that you may visit - Long’s Boutique on Newbury is exemplary. My wife and I had an unplanned stop in Boston and ended up at lunch on Newbury. We decided to check out the Boutique, I was dressed like a men’s Wal Mart fashion model with slip on Vans. No watch. My wife always presents well. She’s not a big jewelry girl either. We were greeted by security warmly and ushered in. The female SA was warm and genuine as well. The chat was 5-10 mins and left her my card and said if she sees a James Cameron in a green box anytime soon to ring me. My phone rang sooner than later. We have had a relationship ever since. Fantastic AD!! Zero profiling of an unassuming long time Rolex collector.

Boston has many great stores: Long’s (AD) - multiple locations featuring different brands, European Watch, AP Boutique, Vacheron Boutique, et al. It’s a good watch city!

Weird there are two similar threads on Boston right now. Anyway this was my reply to the other thread:

Though I have never been there in person I would suggest checking out European Watch Company. They sell new and used watches. I bought and sold with them in the past and it was a top notch experience.

I did notice that. It seems he posted after I did, but he's already there so I'm learning what he enjoyed and didn't.

I see a big variance in opinions on Long's. Does anyone know the reason for that?

There is also Tourneau/Bucherer in Coply Place, (Huntington Ave). Very snooty and rude!
I like (Longs Jewlers) Rolex AD on Newbury.

I also just posted to the other thread. I’m a local and a client of Long’s (Patek, Rolex boutiques). Lower Newbury has become a watch destination. Along with the other suggestions, Shreves has a great pre owned selection upstairs (they also own the Vacheron boutique across the Street-very nice experience).
Enjoy!
