DJ41 Jubilee vs Batgirl vs Sub date

Hi all,

As a one and done, wondered what people’s thoughts are on the below:

DJ41 jubilee fluted - green or blue - probably prefer blue but green seems to be way more popular, is it as timeless in green?

Batgirl BLNR - currently own and feel it’s a blend between dj41 jubilee and the sub kind of best of both

Sub date

Or possibly add the DJ41 alongside the BLNR but probably would go green if it’s an addition as have the blue from BLNR

If I think about adding a second piece though I then get into the realms of both watches being worth say £22-24k total at least on grey, which would get me into a panda, a YM oysterflex etc….

The answer is simple. What do you like best? If you could only have one, and you could wear the Daytona, as a daily daily, then do that. Not being a Daytona fan, Ij’d rather have any two of the remaining 3 choices. I’d pick the DJ and the Sub. You don’t need 2 watches on Jubilee.

Now there's some good advice.

Well, that is a silly point of view.
1. All of this is "eye of the beholder"
2. If you like Jubilee, then ... silly, if you don't then not silly

I have a lot of watches, not all expensive swiss. I have a collection of "Mickey Mouse" for example

But, in terms of Jubilee / Oyster...
- I have a DSSD on Oyster. Would not change it.
- I have a 41 MM Datejust on Jubilee. Would not change it.
- I have a Tudor BB GMT on Uncle Seiko Jubilee with the Tudor clasp/deployant. Would change for a Tudor "5 Link" but otherwise no.

Three different watches. If one of them doesn't sing to you more than the other two you haven't yet found the watch for you.

A Sub will always be my choice for a one and done.

Datejust Green plus a BLNR two great colour coordinations .. but not a one a done exactly ..
You have BLNR on jubilee, one of the best GMT combinations out there, why not just enjoy that as a one and done ..
Think you’ve been asking and mulling over for a long time what to add to collection or trade up to a panda .. sometimes it’s better to be grateful for what we have instead of yearning after what we don’t …
Think you need to decide for yourself exactly what it is you really want, Panda DJ SUB .. only you can answer that and know your financial situation for buying a watch ..
Good luck anyhoo whatever you decide on ..

A version of the Submariner. I am a fan of SS and ND for the look but TT or PM also work.

Well you can time things with a BLNR, but you can't get a second timezone with a Sub.

If one only BLNR
