Any one restore a vintage Rolex?
Just want to know if anyone has experience in restoring a vintage rolex.
I have one from my grandfather. Not sure what is the best way to go? Go to a jeweler? and buy the part myself on ebay? or send in to Rolex? Its a datejust from 1980s. Thanks~ |

You don't say what the part is that you feel you can buy from e-bay..
.......buying a part and installing it is a long way from a "restoration".. As Rikki says, it seems that all you need is a full service on your watch..
