Where is everybody???

Did everyone go on a trip together and not tell me about it? There has been very little activity on TRF the last 2 days. What gives?

Guys, this is the deal. Only people that have been WHITE LISTED in the firewall are able to get to trf. This means that you once sent me your ip address and I put it in the permanent allow. for the past 36 hours when this started, I basically had to block all traffic to TRF so it would not bring the server down. All traffic is still blocked, except for those of us whose IP's are white listed. I spoke to tools yesterday, these attacks are different (I bet the same person) in that they are originating from inside the US which makes it much more difficult to filter out the bad guys as they are lumped in with the good guys. It is sort of like a civil war where you don't know who the enemy is as both sides look the same. I'm doing what I can and today I have a good bit of time to try to start to rectify this.

Thanks for the hard work Scott..

I know that it's frustrating when the attack against TRF can seriously jeopardize all the other accounts on the server..

This is kind of like being a PC....... Since you're the Top Dog, there are always a bunch of low-lifes who want to blame you for all their issues..

I second that, thanks for all the work your doing to combat this problem and provide one hellova site. I have enjoyed my time on here and also learned a great many things. Its too bad that people don't have anything better to do than cause problems and pursue criminal activity. There will be a day of reckoning and those who live a life of immorality will be held accountable for their actions.

Two days without TRF were gruesome, it felt like someone snatched candy out of a kid's hand!! I am glad that the engineers are on it and working to stop the bad guys from infiltrating the servers.

I am sure someone has already looked at it but, blocking multiple requests coming from the same IP, might help! It's a common practise in the Online Banking world.

Good Luck!

Larry: do we know who is doing this? same thugs as last time, or a new set of idiots?

meantime, I'm glad we're back up, and understand there may be some down time over the next few days!

Thanks for getting us backup, suffering from withdrawals, miss all the friends on this site. I hope you get who's responsible for this and hang em.
The site is slow, but it is working, thanks again
