Sub, SD, Comparisons
Can anyone point me to a thread or site that offers a head to head comparison between the Submariner, the Sea Dweller and the Sea Dweller DS. If this has been asked before, my apologies but I couldn't locate such a thread...Or if any of the TRF family has input that would be appreciated also Thanks...

Depth rating is about the only difference between sub and sd----------As for the Deepsea, you would need to read up a little on that one.Im not sure that watch belongs in a head to head with the other two.Cheers.

A bunch of information on each reference in our library,
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=30746 http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=33573 http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=37035 Essentially the SD and DS are evolutions of the Submariner with a design toward the professional diver. Though they share essentially the same movement, as depth increases case thickness increases. The DS brings case size to it's ultimate in the Rolex diver series (along with neat inovations in clasp and case back design). For each reference proper sizing of the bracelet insures proper fit. |
