Question about a possible buy.
I'm looking to buy a Sea Dweller used. I've found one that comes with everything but the warranty papers. How important is that? I've never had to take any of my other watches in for service so i've never used the warranties. If something were to go wrong with the SD are the warranty papers the first thing RSC Beverly Hills gonna ask for? Please advise, thanks.

The watch will not be under warranty if you're buying second hand. The papers really just help to prove the authenticity of the watch to the buyer and don't have a true function outside of that (although having them does provide a nice feeling of completeness).

However, Rolex will never ask for the warranty paper unless you are requesting warranty work... Since the USA warranty is not transferrable, the warranty paper is something that you need to decide if you want or not, "just to have"..... It is just a piece of paper...

I like papers and boxes, as a potential buyer may also like them, if I decide to ever resell the watch.

You'll have no problem with having the watch
in for service at a RSC. However, when you you sell your watch provenance always make it easier and brings a little more money.
