I have not and I have seen many M serial LVs. I'm pretty sure they were all engraved, probably started somewhere in the Zs.

All LV's I have seen have rehauts, how will it looks without one?

I'm almost positive they began the RRR with the last of the Z run - that M would be rare indeed ( Rolex does this sort of stuff just to mess with us...)

Since there was quite a bit of overlap on the Z and M serials, I think that most models that were made during that period will find some Z's with engravings, and some M's without........

That's what I am thinking... Wow, I doubt there are many of M's without RRR, eh?

Here is the answer: Early production M's did not have them--so yes--there are M's without them--only early run--which makes the watch very rare and worth a lot of money! At least a grand more! (-;

It's only rehaut engraving. nothing special about it.

I have an M lv as well, very early serial. Pics in another thread on here after I got it and wanted members to eyeball it due to the lack of rehaut.
