Vintage Watches
Hi Vintage Folks:
I would like to purchase a men's vintage Rolex watch but have no idea what to search for. I thinking a brownish strap on a gold Oyster Perpetual or Datejust. I like a white face, gold rectangle markers and smooth gold bezel. Would rather have it perfectly restored even though original would be more desirable. Does something like this exist? Where should I start looking... I found this link but no exactly what I was looking for. Please feel free to PM me with information about Rolex watches from the 60's and 70's. Thx, Mike |

Grab a 1601 or 1603 Datejust with a band. Should be able to snag one in excellent condition for $1200 or so. It will have the bullet proof 1570 movement. Acrylic crystal. Great vintage Rolex IMO.
How bout this for sale on TRF: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=110118

Thx,
I seen that but wanted a gold case not SS and a smooth bezel. Mike |
