A new strap... gift from my AD!

Presenting the Brown Calf Cashmere OEM strap (ala Fiddy)!

Basically went to visit my AD after the holidays and they asked me if I wanted a strap. I was leery of saying yes and I figured they'd give me a Hirsch or something cheaper, but they busted out the OEM straps and I was like a kid in a candy store!

I couldn't choose between an all black croc (with black stitching unlike the one we get with the 312) or this brown calf strap. For some reason I gravitated towards the brown strap and I took it home... my salesguy promised me the black on black croc when I come back to visit him in a few months, too!!

When I got home, I searched on the internet and I found out that the brown strap is the cashmere strap ala Fiddy! What a nice surprise... it has such a nice "feel" to it and it looks stunning in person!

Best part is that it was free!

Obligatory pics...

Definitely a great AD! I can't believe they gave me an OEM Fiddy strap for nothing. I am real interested to see if the black/black croc awaits me in the next few months, I will definitely post pics when/if I get it.

Such a beauty this strap is... I didn't want to use it so much at first as I wanted to preserve it, but the Fiddy strap ended up being my "go to" casual strap!

What a nice gesture...

It's nice to hear a story of an AD actually doing something nice for their customers, esp in a tight economy. The strap looks great!

I use the OEM black croc w/ white stitching and alternate w/ the cashmere strap.

Haha!

Near 10% off plus no tax... I thought it was a decent deal. Could've been a bigger discount but I got backing of the AD plus 4 year warranty and first maintenance included. Not to mention he will polish it for me if I wanted to.

Thanks fellas! I like it and am glad to be no longer a 1 strap 'risti! This can get addicting real quick.

Have the same strap on my 233 and it looks like a fiddy unless your up close.

What's the difference between this and the Fiddy strap? I noticed the Fiddy didn't have the stitching going across the band near the lugs (just along the side of the band)... but both are cashmere calf skin.

Fiddy strap:

I don't know if my salesman can pull that off without the owner breathing down his neck.

Wow, the cashmere fiddy strap is definitely very nice! :D

But I somehow prefer the fiddy strap that was posted above me... anyone know what the "code" is so I can order it? Or anyone can point me to the right direction?

Thanks. :)

Cashmere is the best looking of calf OEM

With 312 is truly stunning!

It's my favorite strap so far..

Just one question... why do you guys' fiddy straps have the horizontal lug stitching across it, while I've googled, and seen no horizontal stitching on the "original" fiddy strap?

I'm kinda confused... :)

The leather is the same from what I was told... the only difference is the horizontal stitching. The leather darkens over time and has a particular "feel" to it. You'll know it's cashmere if you touch one.

NIIICE!! Glad I could help... lol!

It has a luxurious feel to it, make sure to come back and let me know if you get the "feel" I'm talking about. It's a great strap.
