SUBMARINER LV(Green Bezel).. IS IT DISCONTINUED

I have been told by a friend in the watch business that the price of the Submariner LV is rising in the resale market as it has already been discontinued and Rolex has stop shipping ... can anyone confirm this. I am considering getting one as my AD has offered 27 per cent off the list price. I recall that when the Sea Dweller was discontinued the Retailers started to sell the remaining stock at list price.

Thanks

Would be a reasonable assumption if 16610 production has now ceased. Although not sure how rare the LV is, after approx 7 yrs of production. Certainly more so than the regular SS/black model. Imho Matt's carefully researched '03 model would be the 'true' anniversary Sub

Cheers

At 27% off you should jump on it. Same for any SS sports model Rolex.

Hey bro, I will get it man without my eyes blinking at all.

No discount here in Singapore and The Netherlands! All sport models are either few or no stock on hand, eg. The Amsterdam AD said no stocks at hand, no discount & sells like a hotcakes!

Bernie that's a good discount, I think it's reflective of the strong Canuck buck.
My guess out the door would be between $5700 to $5800 taxes in.

I know of an AD in the GTA that has 2 GMT II, 1 Coke and 1 Pepsi that they will sell at full list price, NO discount.

Where in Ontario are you located?

Bought one too due to the probability of it being discontinued. Just waiting for it to come in. It's an F series.

A rumour is just a premature fact ;)

Sorry guys. I posted that I had one and I guess that's not allowed in this part of the forum so it was removed. I've learned my lesson. and will be posting that kind of thing in the appropriate place.
