Just got my 116613lb Wednesday. I removed a link on the 12 side and now it fits perfectly around my wrist.
But the watch has a tendency to slide to the 12 side of my wrist.
I now have 5 links on the 6 side and 6 links on the 12 side(5/6 configuration).
Would a 4/7 configuration solve the problem??

Probably would, but has the Glidelock helped in any way?

I always have 1 or 2 more on the 12 side. This moves the clasp round nearer the middle of one's wrist.

FWIW, I did a 4/7 on one of my watches and the watch still rides high on the 12.

Normally 1 more link on the 12 but can be 2 if necessary.

The idea is to have the entire hinge centered on the wrist, not necessarily the clasp cover. You'll see that the cover is slightly off center to the left, but the entire clasp hinge is centered underneath.

The newer, non-riveted clasps allow for this. Can't have 4 links on the traditional hollow Oyster bracelets with the hinge riveted to the bracelet (below)...

I recently removed two links from the 6-side of my Deepsea. I know the recommendation when removing two, is one from each side. However, I found two from the 6-side was the best fit and most comfortable.

While there are "guidelines" there really aren't any "rules". If you aren't sure, take a few minutes and try different combinations to see what works, or feels best to you.
