How many Forum members over age 65?

I'm new. Hope this isn't an old question.

In my brief time here I have the impression the members are mostly fortyish, successful, handsome and possessing excellent taste in watches with the New Zealand contingent as a possible exception.

It really doesn't matter as you are all universally cordial and helpful.

At 74, just wondering if I'm the only old f@rt on the forum.

Sorry I still don't have a photo of my new YG GMT IIc Green Dial so I'll post my 1965 GMT (purchased new in Japan), which was gifted to my son after RSC "restored" it.

Here in the states, Railroaders can retire if they are 60 years old, and have at least 30 years of service. I have 41 years in right now, but won't be 60 until July. So I guess it's a case of not getting born soon enough for me. Railroad Retirement is a solvent system, and it was what Social Security was patterened after in the early 1930's.

OK! SAR can stand down

Attention all Search and Rescue units; JJ has been found.
Cancel your search and return to base.

Whew, there for a minute I thought JJ failed to see my humor, albeit pathetic.

OK to resume Dog Chase & Retirement thread .

I'm almost 60, and the wife is just a few months behind. I already told her when she hit's 60, I'm trading her off for three 20 year olds.

Do you know what the similarity is between old farts chasing young girls and dogs chasing cars?

If they stop, what do they do?

You are old as you feel and look. I feel old as JJ, and still look young, no bald head so I am 50/50.

Another question might be, "What would they do if they did catch what they were chasing?"

Well...Greg and Steve and I all have one thing in common: a dozen years left during which we can still point at 65 y/o's and say, "Poor old Fart "

They stop is ambiguous. Stop chasing, or stop after they caught?

Well, maybe you're the only "old fart", but I'm 65 and enjoying my efforts to spend the kid's inheritance. I'm wishing for a pepsi like that, but I doubt my wife will understand- in fact, I'm SURE she won't understand.

21 here - unless I look in the mirror, then I'm 67 (actual age) but my wife thinks I'm still 13. Grandson is 1 & 10/12, sometimes it's a toss-up who is the elder! Tylden.
