LV Submariner!

So recently I've come up with the idea of getting an LV Sub, mainly because I love my 16800 but green is also my favourite colour! So why not have the best of both worlds? A sub with a green bezel!

Only problem with my great idea, if I want the LV I'd have to sell my 16800..

What do you guys think? I'm really stuck on what to do here! =P

Hmm I didn't think of that.. =P Is the bezel colour literally the only difference between the two?

Maxi dial and maxi hand, it makes a huge difference.

I would not sell what you have unless you won't miss it, and I would never put a green insert on a regular sub date.

Trevor: Yeah I just did a browse and the maxi dail does make a big difference! But I think I prefer the maxi dail as I do sometimes have trouble with the sub I all ready have.

I definitely wouldn't miss my sub if I replaced it with the LV... Hmm I think we have a sale! =D

The LV is a beaut. I almost bought one but couldn't close on a price. I hope to someday get one.

Shaun, I think for me it would depend on the dial in the 16800. If matt it would be a keeper for me. If gloss, well........

I'd keep them the way they are purchased. It could be awkward explaining that to someone with a real LV. Odd elevator conversation bait.

Well done Shaun, it's a fantastic looking watch!

Just look at James Martin's at 1:12:15 in on Saturday Kitchen. Looks classy!

Good news! Going to my local AD this saturday, I rang up this morning and asked if they had any in stock, turns out they only have 1 in the back and 1 on display!

Luckily he agreed to save the one in the back for me to go have a proper look at! =D

KEEP the 16800 and if you have a matte dial in your Sub (?) ...then double keep it....

Save your money to buy the "Green" Sub and get it later.. or..use "plastic to purchase".

Alternatively if Green is what you fancy...then buy an insert...

My 16800 is gloss!! I didn't know it came in a matte finish! I am pretty convinced now that I will sell my 16800 and go for the LV this weekend.

LV is the way to go if there is no love for your glossy 16800.
Good luck on saturday and hope it smiles back at you.
