Double red copy right issue

Maybe it's just me, but is this company close to making a fake Rolex?

Everyone wants to be associated with Rolex it seems. These guys went a little overboard.

Is this supposed to be a legitimate dealer? I can post better double reds for sale but I don't need any double secret probation points.

I seem to recall that roach1 was banned from our part of the planet for trying to sell knock off watches

Sure .. they number 300 , sell them and start again .. again ..
There is a trademark infringement , isn't there . I doubt that Mr. Delauze approves for using his company name on such a watch .

I will no longer buy a watch unless I can hold it in my hand or from a long time seller on TRF. If I hold it I can tell. If a TRF seller or buyer is not honest it would be better if a millstone were placed around their neck and they were cast into the sea than face the wrath of TRF.

That is somewhat of a monstrosity...! It looks like they tried to take "one of everything" from several different models of Rolex. I suppose imitation is the best form of flattery, but certainly not in this case.

Wow that has a lot of made up rolex watches:
Explorer 3,6,9 dial.
Vintage Milgauss second hand and bezel.
Submariner minute and hour hands.
Double Red printing on the dial
Comex printing on the dial.

Pretty funny to see all these features on one watch, but I would think Rolex and Comex may not be so happy

I have seen these before in another forum. I called out the guy that started the thread as it was a case of a member pretending to be a WIS but actually advertising the watch on behalf of Pro-lex, the whole thread read as a sales pitch. Suddenly other new members appeared and starting praising the brand out of no where. I think they are now called RXW or something.

Although I wouldn't exactly call them a fake as they don't have the Name Rolex on the dial, I believe Homage is the term used (I guess this gets around the law), my concern was that the parts ie the case, bracelet etc..were being made by the same folk that actually do make the fakes (this is an apsumption on my part).

If you look at the sellers past history he has sold other Homage type watches.

Either way I think you would have to be pretty crazy to pay $999 for it.

My personal feeling is that it is a little mickey mouse and they have no right to put the word Comex any where near the watch.

I think I need to chime in here... I'm not selling fakes and never will. These are collectible homage watches by Ken Sato of Japan (Rolex collector, fanatic). He started the ProLex brand and it became RXW or RockX Watch. Rolex did sue them for copyright infringement and thus he had to change the ProLex brand to RXW. RXW actually makes pretty good watches but soon a bunch of fakes started to show up and now people associate RXW with fake Rolexes. James Dowling is actually a big fan of Ken's products and he has a few in his collection. And ProLex/RXW did obtain license for Comex so they were allowed to place the logo on their watches... Whether Comex ever used their watches I don't know... Maybe James Dowling might know...

Thanks for hearing me out.

BTW, the last one I saw of this watch went to a buyer for $1600 so $999 is a very fair price.
